As a photographer you shoot in Raw or Jpeg, or sometimes both. Then you edit. You may start in Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw, but many photographers will end up in Photoshop doing more detailed editing of your photographs. Now it is time to save. It is meant to focus on how you save to share photos on the web and for print.

That one time this photographer owned Instagrammers with a subtle parody.
As if your Instagram Stories weren't already jam-packed with location tags, timestamps, hashtags, polls, "y tho" stickers, emojis, and handwritten captions that take forever to get right, the powers that be at the photo-sharing app have introduced yet another Story effect that you're going to want to include in every photo, video, and Boomerang you post. Starting Tuesday, you'll be able to add GIF stickers to your Stories — so be prepared to see plenty of dancing cats, mascara tears , and winking Rihannas taking over your feed. To add a GIF to your Story post, tap the smiling sticker icon where you usually find the time, location, and selfie stickers, and look for the animated GIF option. You can move, resize, and pin your choice just like any other sticker, and there's no limit to the number of GIFs you can add to a story; in other words, nothing's stopping you from filling an entire page with hundreds of "White Guy Blinking" GIFs. If you're unsure of how to dive into the world of GIF-ing your Insta Stories, Instagram suggests searching for "accessories," which will show you things like moving sunglasses, facial features, and hairdos that can be layered over faces; "effects," to add fireworks and sparkles to your posts; or "peekers," AKA little stickers that pop up and disappear from behind walls, landscapes, or your friends' heads. That's not the only exciting mini-makeover you'll be seeing in your Instagram Stories this month.

Jump to navigation. Recently I read Nineteen Eighty-Four , a dystopian novel by George Orwell set in a totalitarian state where even the language they use is controlled. Adjectives are forbidden and instead they use phrases such as 'ungood', 'plus good' and 'double plus good' to express emotions. As I first read this I thought how impossible it would be in our society to have such vocabulary. However, the more I thought about it, the more I realised in its own way it's already happening.
